With its minimalist design it is a great filter coffee mill. TheBaratza Encore makes it possible to grind your favorite coffee perfectly for all brewing methods. With over 40 individually adjustable grindings, the Baratza Encore offers a multitude of possibilities with which ideal grindings for hand filters, Chemex, AeroPress or French Press can be achieved in a consistently good way. According to the manufacturer Baratza it is also suitable for espresso. It also grinds very finely, but with very fine grinds the Baratza Encore gets hot due to its smaller grinding disc diameter, which is not good for the grindingdiscs. In our opinion, it is possible to use it for very fine grinds, but we don’t necessarily recommend it. TheBaratza Encore is perfectly suitable for all other grindings. Whoever once starts grinding coffee freshly, does not want to go back. Aroma and taste benefit significantly. The money is well invested.  

In summary: For beginners in the world of high class filter coffee, the Baratza Encore is a very good choice because it is durable and will not exceed your budget. Its compact design, easy operation and good focus make sure for a solid coffee mill.
